Philanthropic Activities

W hile working with the Agariya community - salt worker of Little Rann of Kutch - a deserted salt marsh, for a documentary project. I had an opportunity to learn about their lives and struggles to continue their living. In barrel land, they lack to fulfil the basic amenities for life. During my period with them, I learned that the community requires education, and to have a bright future, the coming generation of the community should be educated. With the help of friends and family and the support of well-wishers, we try to provide the community with clothes, blankets in winter, and other support. We also help students in Rann with stationery and books.

Recently, with the help of an NGO 'Madat', I donated my hair for fabricating a hair wig for cancer patients who cannot afford it. I believe that a person should always spare time and work for the betterment of society, as it is the society that builds us and it is our duty to give that back.
